South Whidbey at Home has two forms of membership—Full and Supporting.
If you are 55 and over and live within the South Whidbey School District (south of Classic Road) you can be a Full Member. Is that you? Then your annual fee gives you access to First Call, our one-stop phone or email service. The call managers at First Call can help you work through problems, help you decide what you need, and connect you either to volunteers who can visit, drive or do small chores or to trusted businesses who have met our criteria. Our fun and educational social activities will help keep your life rich and full.
If you’re not yet 55, not yet in need of volunteer help, or not living in the South Whidbey School District, you can still be a part of SW@Home by becoming a Supporting Member. Benefits include use of our First Call service to connect you to trusted businesses and participation in any of our social and educational events. Your supporting membership now also ensures that SW@Home will be there when you (or your parents) do need it.
What is the cost? Both Full and Supporting Members pay $240 per year per household—that’s just $20 a month for peace of mind. Because Supporting Members do not have access to volunteer services, $200 of their $240 annual dues can be counted as a tax-deductible donation.
